Darcie & Jeff Lang's Pennsylvania RR
This is a O scale railroad that lives in a very large basement. The Lang's has some absolutely striking trains that run like perfection on this "around the room" basement railroad.

Darcie and Jeff's layout began in 2001 in their new home's basement. At 56' by 40' they have tried to represent a short section of the PRR and an interchange with a branch line from a Midwestern city The PRR part is depicted with a four-track main and access to 8 hidden storage sidings. They have used 96 inch minimum radius everywhere and 7 1/2 turnouts. Atlas track is used except in the storage sidings.
This large layout turns into a small one considering the number of squares as per John Armstrong!
The center of the room is now under construction as a branch line. The branch line has 36 inch radius and #4, 5 and 6 turnouts which makes for a sharp contrast to the PRR mainline. The junction is represented on the industrialized side of the Midwestern city. The future is scenery on the PRR and continuation of the branch line into the open area left in the center of the basement.
